The U.S. Army FIRES Program is subordinate to the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC). FIRES (The NGIC FICA Branch) provides worldwide targeted structure, facilities and infrastructure based intelligence in support of the Army, DOD, IC and interagency partners in order to provide decisive advantage to Warfighters, Decision Makers and enable United States security. FIRES supports dozens of operations and Requests for Information (RFI) per year and FIRES products support hundreds of queries per month from customers ranging from the tactical to strategic level via various dissemination platforms (GETS, Pulse, etc.) Responsibilities
Use all available geospatial-related resources, tools, to task, collect, analyze, produce, and disseminate all available NTM, commercial, and ISR related resources and information in support of the FIRES mission. Develops target nominations, creates database records, and databases target intelligence products. Produces all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assists with combat assessment requirements. Qualifications
Required: Familiarity and proficiency with GEOINT tools such as GETS, Socket GXP, QT Modeler, ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro. Experience processing and analyzing data from all available GEOINT sources including still imagery (e.g. panchromatic, infrared, multispectral, hyperspectral), motion imagery, active sensing (e.g. SAR), light detection and ranging (e.g. LIDAR), geophysical sensors, and commercial remote sensing. Minimum of 6 years experience and a Bachelor’s Degree. Desired: Experience creating new or identifying emerging TTPs/technologies to provide GEOINT insights and providing advanced targeting support. 10 Years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
