Senior Account Executive, Beauty & Lifestyle
We have an immediate opening for a
Senior Account Executive
in our
Lifestyle team . You have 4–5 years of experience across consumer brands in beauty, lifestyle and pop culture, with a passion for creating narratives that reach diverse audiences. Your media diet includes outlets from The Today Show to NYT Styles, BuzzFeed, and People Magazine. You understand Gen Z beauty standards and how DTC models disrupt the traditional beauty landscape. You may work on beauty as well as health, wellness and other lifestyle accounts, and you navigate the media landscape across verticals to reach a diverse roster of brands. You bring energy, strong contacts, and creative ideas, and you embrace entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities Include
Drafting, developing, and executing comprehensive communications strategies.
Conducting regular and thorough research on topics, flagging relevant news updates for teams/clients.
Drafting, editing and proofreading materials including press releases, blog content, pitches, fact sheets, FAQs, briefing notes, and client correspondence.
Partnering with senior managers on delivering for a full roster of clients (average of 4–6).
Managing media contact lists to build relationships with new publications and media contacts.
Participating in new business meetings, creating proposals as needed.
Regularly bringing new opportunities for clients – media meetings, key introductions, etc.
Mentoring and teaching junior team members on account teams.
Working with senior management to respond to client requests promptly and efficiently.
You Should Apply If
At least 4 years in PR, with experience in communications, consumer brands, tech, lifestyle public relations, integrated media relations, and strategic media planning.
Growing list of media relationships across verticals with ability to secure impactful opportunities.
Strong writing skills: persuasive, concise, creative, and quick.
Well-rounded understanding of consumer/lifestyle/tech marketing.
Strategic thinker with new ideas and collaboration skills.
Strong judgment, accountability, and ability to make decisions.
Curious with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects.
Willing to work select evenings/weekends and travel as needed.
Enjoys over-delivering and taking pride in contributing positively.
You don’t HAVE to have this, but it would be nice
Solid relationships across consumer media and interest in building business in this space.
Interests beyond fashion and beauty, exploring niche industries (documentaries, tech, experiential museums, etc.).
B2B & thought leadership experience.
$67,500 - $75,000 a year
