Overview
Account Executive, TPO at Carrington Holding Company, LLC Join our team to develop and maintain broker/seller relationships to sell wholesale and correspondent mortgage loan products. This role involves calling on potential or existing brokers/sellers to develop new business or retain existing business and acting as a liaison between brokers/sellers and loan operations to facilitate loan closings and purchases. All duties are performed in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures and applicable US state and federal laws and regulations. Target pay range: $120,000 to $500,000. What You’ll Do
Identify, contact, and gain approval for new mortgage brokers and sellers. Establish and maintain broker/seller relationships to ensure a steady flow of loan applications and purchases. Advise brokers/sellers on Company programs, pricing, submission policies and procedures. Inform brokers/sellers of changes to Company policies or procedures. Assist brokers/sellers in the loan submission process. Train brokers/sellers on use of online systems for loan submissions, automated underwriting, rate sheets and loan lock procedures. Act as liaison with outside brokers, internal broker coordinators, processors, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure timely loan closings. Ensure compliance deadlines for pre-disclosures, approval letters and denial notices are met. Maintain and update contacts in the CRM system and handle confidential information in accordance with policies and laws. Coordinate with Sellers, internal correspondent coordinators, relationship managers, underwriting, and funding to ensure timely loan purchases. Manage loan pipeline to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Provide a high level of customer service to brokers/sellers during the loan process. What You’ll Need
Demonstrated sales performance with experience developing and maintaining broker/seller relationships. Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals. Knowledge of state and federal lending regulations; knowledge of FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, VA, USDA and non-agency loan products; knowledge of purchase transactions. Knowledge of Carrington policies, procedures, guidelines, organization structure, underwriting guidelines and investor requirements. Ability to learn quickly about Carrington, its sales process, products, and the mortgage industry. Ability to understand complex problems and collaborate on solutions. Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills. High school diploma or equivalent required. 1–5 years of experience as a wholesale and/or correspondent account executive with multiple brokers, investors and loan products preferred; prior sales experience in mortgage industry preferred.
