NCR Atleos is searching for a
Account Executive
for a sales territory in the New England region of the US for our banking business. This individual is responsible for profitability, growth and account penetration within the assigned territory and/or market segment.
Position Summary & Key Areas Of Responsibility
Identify and target opportunities across existing and new prospects
Partner with other business units to expand cross-sell opportunities; lead account planning and opportunity planning sessions
Maintain and grow file value and serve as the principal financial sales representative ensuring the highest level of customer service and support to NCR Atleos major accounts; also responsible for demand creation of NCR Atleos Self Service, Branch Transformation, Consulting, and SaaS solutions; prospects for existing and new accounts within an assigned territory or geography; provide subject matter expertise and support for all Solutions sales campaigns into targeted accounts
Build and maintain customer relationships; identify and meet customer requirements driving volume and growth; act as liaison between the customer, sales support, factory, product management and internal resources; ensure customer satisfaction
Ensure key accounts continue to thrive; pursue prospects within assigned accounts to advance opportunities for new solutions
Schedule and conduct regular customer meetings to discuss customer issues, performance/value, projects, rollouts, and to position new solutions; build enduring relationships with key interfaces; address customer issues escalated as needed to drive resolution
Fill the pipeline with qualified opportunities and execute winning sales campaigns to deliver quarter-on-quarter growth
Obtain customer and industry information to respond to needs; leverage industry knowledge and contacts to uncover future opportunities; respond to competitive threats to maximize retention; understand the decision-making process within accounts
Advise and influence customers through consultative selling; build an internal network to provide value-added solutions and service
Be accountable for ensuring assigned accounts are properly serviced; maintain account plans; track growth/decline; manage day-to-day operations of a major account
Design territory plans to maximize revenue and profit to meet annual quota; forecast monthly for assigned accounts; develop account plans to align NCR Atleos and customer objectives; catalyze commitment to accelerate the sales cycle
Describe how NCR Atleos products relate to the customer's industry; identify competitors and compare strengths/weaknesses; position NCR Atleos as a single-source provider
Deliver presentations with a consultative approach at senior/executive levels; incorporate industry trends into sales presentations; partner with other units to expand cross-sell opportunities
Identify and target opportunities across existing and new prospects
Leverage a team including post-sale delivery, pre-sale technical professionals, and management to achieve objectives
Demonstrate leadership and relationship-building to maintain executive-level interaction and customer satisfaction
Close profitable NCR Atleos solution deals including hardware, software, professional services, and customer services; manage sales portfolio with a revenue focus; resolve data integrity issues
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required; financial and/or technical discipline strongly preferred
5-8 years of related experience; financial industry experience a plus
Proven success in a solution sales environment
Ability to articulate the value of a complex solution sale in technical terms to support customer experience platforms
Demonstrated ability to understand sales barriers and overcome hurdles to close business
Customer-oriented approach
Strong teaming and proactive leadership; excellent written and oral communication; active listening
Strong communication, creative thinking and presentation skills
Demonstrated sales success in attaining quota objectives; managing account relationships; developing new opportunities
Ability to travel 20-25%
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of the financial industry and solutions or similar applications
Experience in selling software/applications
Experience selling solutions such as aaS, ATMs, Kiosks, Networking and Communications, Enterprise Data Warehousing, Call Centers, Internet Banking, CRM, Managed services, Branch solutions, Mobile Banking
