Role Account Manager

About the role OLIVER is a global marketing agency. Our skilled creative talents are dedicated to high-profile clients and are based onsite, near-site, or offsite in our hubs. Our work spans e-Comm, social, print and retail (Wholesale & DTC) channels. The North America Account Manager develops and builds strong relationships with local clients, becoming a trusted advisor and delivery specialist. Reporting to the Account Director, the Account Manager oversees the portfolio of in-market campaigns and their cultural nuances. The role delivers exceptional client service, creative thinking, and actively drives efficiencies and growth across categories including Originals, Football, and Running, among others.

What you will be doing

An understanding of the importance of brand guidelines and client needs to provide the best service through close partnership in the key market.

Experience with global creative toolkits, market adaptations, and localizations.

Ownership and management of local client engagement.

Drive regular client and internal status meetings, escalate issues, resolve problems, manage resources and spend, and make critical decisions.

Lead and motivate a team and project through to successful completion.

Background in production with a strong delivery focus for high-volume adaptation work.

Develop strong relationships with different agencies, printers, and related partners.

Passion for sport and the client brand.

Ideally a background in a retail environment, online and offline.

What you need to be great in this role

Work with globally supplied creative, delivering end-to-end management of large-scale projects for client-owned retail stores, wholesale partners, eCommerce and CRM.

Oversee creative development for 2D and 3D formats – in-store graphics, launch zones, digital content, and more.

Collaborate with clients to develop strong concepts from initial briefing and understand local market nuances.

Provide insightful feedback to global stakeholders; connect global and local teams.

Coordinate with offsite/international hubs and local teams to deliver work.

Deliver projects with support from Project Management, including: examining job requests and creating production-ready briefs; clear on-brief direction to creative; guiding the team through every project stage.

Motivate and support the team to deliver high-quality work and meet client expectations.

Take responsibility for service levels and KPIs; oversee creative output to maintain high quality across projects.

Implement best-practice production processes within OLIVER and with clients.

Experience in an advertising agency; sports and lifestyle categories are a plus.

Cross-channel experience: Print, Digital Display, Email.

Ability to manage multiple projects from brief to delivery; solid understanding of Retail best practices.

Ability to manage workloads, identify challenges and risks, and maintain executional rigor and organization.

Ability to translate complex material into engaging stories for in-market audiences.

Competent in presenting and communicating ideas to clients.

Experience with retail and sports products.

Good understanding of project finances – estimating, timings, and invoicing.

Comfortable working with remote clients and teams across time zones and cultures.

Compensation: The base salary for this position may range from $55,250 to $61,750. Compensation varies based on location, responsibilities, experience, and qualifications. This range is one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
