ADI Global Distribution is hiring an Account Manager who will increase market share, uncover new opportunities, and drive sales that result in long-term customer relationships. ADI is part of Resideo Inc., a leading wholesale distributor of security and low-voltage products in North America. This position is not eligible for US visa sponsorship. What You Will Do
Increase market share by performing sales efforts to convert potential customers to ADI customers. Strengthen current customer relationships by supporting customer service efforts, conducting follow-up calls, educating customers about new product lines, and staying informed about industry developments. Proactively drive market intelligence, uncover growth opportunities, and deliver sales wins. Ensure positive relationships within the ADI organization to encourage team sales and priority service for customers. Implement various customer trainings to drive sales growth in the assigned territory. YOU MUST HAVE
2+ years of sales experience in CCTV, IP, AV technologies, Security, and Fire; successful track record in selling in the security industry within a distribution model. Valid Driver’s License, clean motor vehicle history, and driving record in good standing Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with the ability to build long-term business relationships Ability to learn quickly, handle high call volume, and think creatively Strong work ethic and ethical standards Strong customer service, organization, and multi-tasking abilities Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Self-motivated, able to work independently with a team mindset Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to travel up to 75% per business needs WE VALUE
Significant experience in a Sales/Account Management field Experience with Freight, Telecom (data or cell), or Distribution Experience working at a Retail Office Supply store is a plus Salesforce experience is a plus Experience with high-value daily spending and a large product profile Ability to influence across different organizational levels Ability to handle multiple priorities in a highly matrixed environment WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
