Overview
Account Manager – Supplements / Nutritional Ingredients at Quadra Group. Territory is the Southwest United States (TX, OK, KS, AR, MS, LA, CO, NM and AZ). Location: ideally in Texas. Status: Full-time Permanent. We are seeking an energetic sales professional in the distribution industry with experience in nutraceuticals or dietary supplements to drive growth in a high-growth territory. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the candidate will develop relationships within the territory and promote Quadra’s products and services. Responsibilities
Develop sales with both new and existing customers within the sales territory and maintain existing customers. Develop and utilize internal and external resources, showcasing Quadra’s reputation for service excellence. Prospect new customers through cold calling and qualify key decision makers and their needs. Sell Quadra’s product line through routine visits, joint calls and participation in industry events. Manage key customer relationships in line with Quadra’s core values and strategic vision. Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers to obtain repeat and new sales. Meet or exceed annual sales and margin objectives. Assist with customer troubleshooting and optimization opportunities. Present information clearly and communicate effectively; manage timelines and after-hours needs. Close new business by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts and integrating contract requirements. Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and scheduling; conduct business in an organized and time-efficient manner. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in science, business or commerce. 5–8 years of proven experience in the supplement and/or ingredients industry; strong understanding of features and applications of various supplement ingredients. 5+ years of B2B sales experience including prospecting, negotiation, business development and closing skills. Proven ability to establish relationships of trust, tailor solutions to client needs and effectively communicate value propositions. Strong industry network and knowledge of supplements market trends, regulations, and development. Product formulation/chemistry background is an asset but not required. Proven track record of sales growth and customer retention. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight and international travel (Canada & USA). Valid passport and driver’s license required. Proficient with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce) and Microsoft Office. Benefits
