Job Overview As a Fulfillment Colleague, you will help create a seamless shopping experience for omni-channel customers. This role combines sales floor engagement with back-of-house fulfillment responsibilities, including selecting merchandise, packing and shipping online orders with care, and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup. You will greet customers with hospitality, resolve issues professionally, and ensure each interaction is smooth and positive. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to operational excellence will help drive sales, strengthen customer loyalty, and support store success. This role emphasizes customer focus and collaboration to deliver outstanding experiences.
Responsibilities
Begin each day energized to make an impact, greet teammates, review goals, learn about new products and promotions, and prepare the store for success. Tasks include receiving merchandise, tagging items, and organizing the stockroom to set up smooth operations.
On the floor, focus on the customer by greeting warmly, actively listening, resolving issues, and supporting curbside pickups or order fulfillment as needed.
Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, restocking merchandise, and supporting merchandise moves.
Finish Strong by sharing Loyalty program benefits, ensuring customers have what they need, and closing interactions with thanks; wrap up by organizing the stockroom and preparing for the next day.
Support one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to better serve customers and communities.
Strive for excellence, aiming to improve daily, achieve sales goals, and learn from colleagues to deliver store results.
Who You Are
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.
Effective communication with customers, co-workers, and supervisors; ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English.
Comfortable collaborating with customers and colleagues; capable of meeting daily sales goal challenges.
Willing to acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits; enjoy meeting people and sharing information.
Resourceful, adaptable to changing priorities, able to work independently yet thrive in a team environment.
Essential Physical Requirements
Talking, lifting, constant movement, standing for extended periods, and reaching with arms and hands.
Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and reaching above shoulder level.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Frequent use of computers and handheld equipment, including cash register operation and processing transactions.
