Account Executive

position at our UMass Amherst property manages the sales and servicing of season tickets, partial season tickets, mini-plans, group tickets, and individual tickets for the Minutemen athletics department. This role pays an annual salary of $45,000-$50,000 and is bonus eligible. Benefits for Full-Time roles:

The William D. Mullins Memorial Center, also known as the

Mullins Center , is a 9,493-seat multi-purpose arena (10,500 for concerts), located on the campus of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Massachusetts. The Mullins Center is home to UMass Minutemen men's basketball, women's basketball, and men's ice hockey. The venue also hosts concerts, family shows, theater shows, and commencements annually. Responsibilities

Maximize revenue through the sale of ticket packages including season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and individual game tickets. Establish professional relationships to encourage repeat business and provide superior customer service. Create opportunities for new business with existing customers using proactive tactics. Utilize cold calling, appointments, and social selling to sell ticket packages. Call past and prospective customers to generate ticket sales. Conduct inside and outside appointments to gain new business while maintaining high call volume. Participate in networking events to develop new leads. Handle incoming sales calls from prospective clients for all ticket packages. Meet or exceed sales goals for all ticket packages. Maintain accurate customer records. Staff home games to support ticket sales and promotional programs. Manage large call volumes, both outbound and inbound. Work nights, weekends, and holidays as per event schedules. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

3-5 years of related experience. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in a related field. Familiarity with Paciolan and Salesforce.com (CRM) preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to manage multiple business relationships professionally. Strong time management and presentation skills. Attention to detail, organization, and listening skills. Professional, competitive, and dedicated attitude. Highly motivated and positive with a desire to succeed. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Our Commitment
