Overview

Vice President of Sales – Field Controls is a senior executive role at Field Controls. The VP of Sales is responsible for developing and executing the North American sales strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships across regions. This role requires strategic, data-driven leadership with a proven track record in manufacturing or industrial sectors, preferably HVAC/IAQ, in a global matrixed organization. Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy aligned with growth targets and HVAC market dynamics. Lead revenue forecasting, market analysis, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning in air purification and IAQ sectors. Identify new growth opportunities, emerging HVAC markets, and key partnerships to enhance customer reach and product penetration. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Product Management to align go-to-market plans. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global sales team, including regional leaders, key account managers, and inside sales. Set clear performance expectations and KPIs, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus. Drive profitable revenue growth via direct and indirect channels (OEMs, distributors, integrators). Strengthen relationships with strategic accounts in HVAC, IAQ, and commercial building systems. Leverage data analytics and CRM systems to track performance and improve customer acquisition and retention. Oversee regional sales performance across North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM; tailor strategies to diverse markets and regulatory environments. Guide localization strategies for pricing, promotions, and customer experience. Optimize sales processes, tools, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) to improve pipeline visibility, forecasting, and efficiency. Lead sales budgeting, planning, and resource allocation; establish metrics-driven sales operations and dashboards. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 10-15 years of progressive sales leadership experience in global manufacturing or HVAC/IAQ. Proven success managing global teams and growing multimillion-dollar revenue portfolios. Strong experience with complex B2B sales cycles, industrial customer engagement, and technical product portfolios including air filtration, HVAC components, and purification solutions. Deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics, industrial buying behavior, and HVAC verticals (e.g., commercial buildings, hospitals, cleanrooms, data centers). Experience with sales automation tools, CRM, ERP integration, and data analytics platforms. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence. Preferred Skills & Attributes
