The Greenfield Lead Generation Specialist plays a critical role in positioning our client as the developer’s preferred infrastructure partner and aims to ensure our client is first to trench and first to serve in every new residential and MDU development within the market. This field-based position leads the end-to-end execution of the Joint Trench Fiber Expansion initiative, focusing on proactively identifying, qualifying, and advancing greenfield opportunities (new, undeveloped subdivisions and mixed-use projects). Success depends on building strong relationships with developers, contractors, municipalities, and utilities to secure joint trenching participation before vertical construction begins—accelerating deployment and maximizing customer growth. Responsibilities
Site Research & Early Engagement Identify and qualify greenfield development opportunities through land registries, zoning maps, planning databases, permitting activity, satellite imagery, and local government records Surface opportunities early to influence development schedules and secure joint trench participation Stakeholder Relationships Build and maintain partnerships with developers, contractors, municipal planners, and utilities Represent the company at pre-construction meetings, planning sessions, and site visits, advocating for joint trenching and early sales engagement Opportunity Management Scout and track upcoming residential and mixed-use projects using local intelligence and direct outreach Maintain a centralized tracker of opportunities, site plans, schedules, and stakeholder contacts Internal & External Coordination Act as liaison between external stakeholders (developers, cities, utilities) and internal teams (Engineering, Sales, MDU, BAU) Support permitting processes, workprint reviews, and engineering alignment Participate in weekly coordination meetings to align engineering, permitting, construction, and sales teams Market Insight Monitor development trends to inform long-term fiber deployment strategies and investment planning Qualifications
3+ years of experience in land development, telecom, utilities, construction coordination, or municipal planning Knowledge of fiber deployment, greenfield development cycles, and joint trenching practices Proven success engaging residential developers and builders to coordinate joint trench participation Strong research and analytical skills, with experience using mapping tools, databases, and public records Ability to work independently in the field, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a self-directed environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on relationship-building Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint Willingness to travel frequently throughout Dallas, Texas What We Offer
