The Enterprise ASC Sales Leader is a leadership role responsible for driving sales growth and market share expansion. This role represents Baxter’s portfolio of products, services, and solutions, leading strategic initiatives within the ASC sector across the entire U.S., with revenue in excess of $55M. You will take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your deep portfolio knowledge and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients will empower you to meet customer needs. You will be the primary connection to healthcare professionals who rely on our products to save and sustain lives, serving as the face and voice of our solutions. You enjoy connecting teams to drive business results and share insights with cross-functional partners to validate priorities and inform changes. Your team is a friendly, collaborative group that pushes each other to improve. You will find camaraderie and support to help accomplish goals, whether out in the field with a partner or tackling challenges with the team. What you'll be doing
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow market share within the ASC sector. Identify, own, build, and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at ASCs, including the largest ASC operators, surgeons, administrators, facility managers, and strategic partners. Apply a consultative approach with executives through discovery of key organizational business issues. Own strategic account portfolio development, focused pipeline management, and execution of the integrated sales strategy to achieve revenue and margin targets. Act as a sales leader collaborating with business verticals, Marketing, Clinical, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Field Sales teams to ensure Baxter and customer goals are met and value propositions are fully developed and delivered. Ensure alignment with field sales to maximize benefits. Develop strategic account plans and metric-driven, customer-centric quarterly business reviews (QBRs). Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and developments. Maintain knowledge of business drivers, clinical applications, and value propositions for all products in the portfolio. Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations to potential clients highlighting the value of our products and services. Provide regular updates on sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts to management. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales data in our CRM system. What you'll bring
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field 12 years of sales or sales support experience; healthcare or medical device industry preferred Experience in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) market preferred or strong understanding of the ASC landscape Full P&L responsibility and/or significant revenue and cost management experience preferred High level of self-motivation, drive, resilience, dedication, and integrity, with a sense of urgency and comfort with ambiguity Excellent customer orientation and negotiation skills, including ability to review contractual redlines Proven success leading multi-year complex sales and contract processes Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate change Exceptional ability to influence and persuade, with strong conflict resolution skills Consultative and achievement-focused approach Excellent planning and analytical skills with attention to detail, and leadership abilities Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently and act as a thought leader Sound decision making and creative problem-solving skills Ability to navigate cross-functional teams and projects, develop plans, and understand local market and competitive trends Strong listening skills to understand client needs and offer customized solutions Ability to travel up to 75% of the time Benefits and Compensation
We understand compensation is important. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000–$187,000, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives. Final pay is based on location, skills, experience, and other factors. This position may offer additional benefits and bonuses as part of Baxter's compensation program.
