Payroll Manager
within the
Financial Services Industry , to join our client on a
hybrid
schedule, in
Wayne, PA . Up to 110K/yr. and 15% STI bonus incentive Must be located within 50 miles of Wayne, PA - resume must clearly indicate location Monday- Friday, 8AM-5PM
Hybrid – 2 days/week onsite required 2–4 days onsite during onboarding (first 1–2 months)
Interview Process:
3 rounds (virtual) – Hiring Manager, Panel, Final What You Will Be Doing Lead full-cycle payroll operations for 500–700 U.S. and Canadian employees. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across federal, state/provincial, and local jurisdictions. Manage payroll schedules, reconciliations, and reporting cycles. Collaborate with Finance, HR, and external vendors to ensure data integrity and seamless integration. Maintain current knowledge of payroll legislation and tax laws in both countries. Ensure compliance with audits, filings, and remittances (IRS, CRA, etc.). Implement internal controls and risk mitigation strategies. Lead and mentor a payroll team of 2–3 direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. Promote cross-training and continuous improvement within the team. Identify and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency. Leverage automation and technology to streamline operations. Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure operational excellence. Serve as the primary contact for payroll-related inquiries and escalations. Provide strategic insights and reporting to senior leadership. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field; CPP or PCP certification preferred. 5–7 years of progressive payroll experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Proven expertise in high-volume payroll processing and tax compliance for both U.S. and Canada. Strong understanding of payroll systems and HRIS integrations. Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP GlobalView. Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud for payroll data management and reporting. Skilled in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Strategic, collaborative, and proactive leader with strong communication skills. Estimated Min Rate : $77000.00
