Our client, a global leader in the entertainment and media industry, is seeking a hands-on Senior Payroll Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll across multiple jurisdictions. This role will act as the bridge between Payroll, Accounting, and Tax, ensuring accurate processing, compliance, and smooth operations.
Base pay range
$80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Process payroll for U.S., Canada, and Mexico (multi-state experience required) Handle new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, and deductions Administer garnishments and ensure compliance with tax and labor regulations Reconcile payroll accounts, journal entries, and resolve discrepancies Generate payroll and tax reports; support audits and reconciliations Maintain and improve payroll systems (ADP, Workday preferred) Serve as a point of contact for escalated employee payroll issues Partner on payroll-related projects and process improvements Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business 3–5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience Strong knowledge of payroll tax and payroll accounting Proficiency with ADP, Workday and Excel CPP or FPC certification preferred Strong communication, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills Employment details
