As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will work with existing Schwab clients, providing them with wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals. Procure and serve Schwab clients with wealth management and financial planning guidance. Develop and grow client relationships, expand assets, and leverage referrals. Collaborate with Schwab specialists and adhere to advice guidelines while applying knowledge of the markets to help clients progress toward their goals. Qualifications
Required Qualifications A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance as it will be required during tenure Preferred Qualifications Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen client relationships by applying a focused client communication strategy and exceeding client expectations Willingness to learn to leverage Schwab specialists, advice guidelines, market knowledge, and the ability to inspire action to help clients progress toward their goals Open to managing wealth on behalf of clients including Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning Ability to adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve Passion for community engagement to discuss market conditions, sound investing principles, and wealth strategies for clients’ situations Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience while continuing professional development in Wealth Management Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and to submit to the SAFE Act background check and registration process. In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
