About the Role The Family Law Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in providing legal representation and guidance to clients navigating family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and adoption. This position requires a deep understanding of family law statutes and the ability to apply them effectively in various legal scenarios. The attorney will work closely with clients to develop tailored legal strategies that meet their unique needs and objectives. Additionally, the role involves drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court proceedings. Ultimately, the Family Law Associate Attorney will strive to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining the highest ethical standards in legal practice.
Minimum Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
At least 2-5 years of experience in family law or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with complex family law cases.
Familiarity with mediation and alternative dispute resolution processes.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on family law issues.
Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
Provide clients with clear and timely updates on their cases and legal options.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure effective case management.
Skills

Strong interpersonal skills.
Must be a self-starter and be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
