As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be working with existing Schwab clients, providing wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals. If you currently have your securities license, enjoy working in a team setting, and share our passion for serving clients - this role is for you. Responsibilities
Procure and manage existing Schwab clients, providing wealth management and financial planning advice. Grow the practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and referrals. Collaborate with a team and leverage Schwab specialists and guidelines to help clients progress toward their goals. Required Qualifications
Active FINRA Series 7 license. Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance as required during tenure. Preferred Qualifications
Ability to build strong relationships, engage clients, and exceed expectations through focused communication. Willingness to leverage team of Schwab specialists, advice guidelines, market knowledge, and inspire action toward client goals. Open to managing wealth including: Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning. Ability to adapt to changing market and business conditions. Passion for community engagement and discussing market conditions and investing principles with clients. Desire to provide outstanding investor experience and pursue professional development in Wealth Management. Compliance: All employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS and remain in good standing; you will be required to register and complete the SAFE Act background check.
