Overview
Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Consultant for Program Support. Exempt W2: No Overtime Pay Basis Contract Contingent, generally located across the CONUS – Richland, Washington. Support across the Pacific Northwest Region supporting DOE EM Hanford in a federal, regulated, high-stakes nuclear cleanup environment requiring multidisciplinary contractor support, compliance oversight, and mission assurance. Candidates with relevant Environmental Management Sector experience are sought to support professional services engagements for Environmental Management Sector Clients such as DOE. This is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) environment in the Environmental Management sector; the position supports Environment, Safety and Health and Quality Assurance functional disciplines for Hanford Field Office (HFO). ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time employed W-2 position. Job Overview Provide services as an Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Consultant for General Support Services (GSS) for Hanford Field Office (HFO) in the Environmental Management industry, focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as the U.S. Department of Energy – Environmental Management (DOE-EM/HFO) and DOE EMCBC. Location: Richland, Washington and the Pacific Northwest region. Role supports environmental, safety, health, and quality assurance services to safeguard compliance, protect workers, and support Hanford mission success.
Responsibilities and Duties
Support RCRA/CERCLA/NEPA compliance, monitoring, and regulatory reporting. Work location near CONUS – Richland, WA (subject to change). Working address: 2440 Stevens Center Place, H520 Richland, WA 99354. Produce regulator-ready compliance packages. Provide environmental regulatory consulting within the Hanford Field Office General Support Services scope. Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the CO, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations. Security requirements: Facility Clearance for ProSidian team members; DOE clearance level as indicated for work performed. Place of performance: Hanford Field Office and Hanford Site, Richland, WA; on-site with some approved remote support. Government-furnished resources: Office space, workstations, and required software provided; scope primarily on-site with some remote support as approved.
Qualifications
Desired: 5–10+ years of environmental compliance/remediation experience. Education/Experience: BS in Environmental Science/Engineering; HAZWOPER certification. Functional alignment with Environmental Management Sector and Environmental Compliance and Regulatory Consultant roles, supporting Environment, Safety and Health and Quality Assurance functional areas. Skills: Program and project management support; regulatory interpretation; data QA/QC. Competencies: Risk awareness, communication.
