full-time Payroll Manager
to join their team. Typical hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm. Responsibilities: Manage and support Payroll Specialists, ensuring payroll processes are accurate, timely, and compliant. Discuss, contribute, and carry out strategic efficiencies with HR Leadership. Oversee the preparation, processing, and reconciliation of payroll for all employees, including hourly, salaried, and contract workers. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws, including tax filings, garnishments, and wage reporting. Maintain and update payroll records, including pay rates, tax withholdings, benefits, and deductions. Collaborate with HR to manage employee benefits deductions, direct deposits, and payroll adjustments. Address and resolve complex payroll issues and employee inquiries. Generate and distribute payroll reports for management, audits, and regulatory compliance. Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and tax filings. Ensure payroll systems are functioning correctly and work with vendors or IT for troubleshooting and updates. Work closely with our HRIS vendor and accounting firm to ensure compliance of out-of-state taxes associated with payroll. Apply Now! Annual Salary Range: $81,000 - $95,000 CCP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and skills. Some roles may be eligible for overtime pay. Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) required; Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred. Proficiency in payroll software (preferably ADP Vantage) and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of payroll regulations and best practices.
