Overview

Employee Relations Specialist role at TransUnion. This is a hybrid position requiring in-person work at an assigned TransUnion office location for a minimum of two days a week, with virtual components as applicable. What You'll Do

Provide specialized guidance and support to associates, managers and HR professionals on employee relations and workplace matters as a key member of the Employee Relations Center of Excellence. Review and respond to sensitive associate issues, ensure compliance with employment obligations, and support HR initiatives that foster a positive, fair and compliant work environment. Influence employment policies and practices to align with TransUnion’s values and business goals. Responsibilities

Act as a trusted partner by providing consultative support on employee relations matters including performance, corrective action, employment policy interpretation, and conflict resolution. Support enforcement of company policies to maintain a positive work environment and ensure consistent and equitable treatment of associates. Draft and review performance management documentation, including corrective action and termination notices. Review workplace complaints and issues; recommend and facilitate appropriate resolution. Guide reasonable accommodation processes and advise on leave-related matters in compliance with ADA, Title VII, PWFA, FMLA, and related laws. Manage the employee relations case management system; ensure accurate documentation and timely issue resolution. Analyze data, identify trends, and provide quarterly analysis and reporting. Support reduction-in-force activities, including separation documentation, severance calculations, and coordination of outplacement services. Fulfill annual reporting requirements (e.g., OFCCP, AAP, EEO-1, VETS-4212) and recommend program improvements based on data findings. Assist responses to internal and external records requests, including audits and subpoenas. Contribute to development and delivery of training and information sessions on HR initiatives to educate associates and leaders on workplace matters and best practices. Collaborate cross-functionally on enterprise-wide HR initiatives. Qualifications

5+ years of experience advising on Employee Relations and corrective action across multiple jurisdictions. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Familiarity with relevant employment laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, FMLA). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint. Experience using HR Acuity or similar case management systems. Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism. Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail. Experience with mandatory reporting requirements (e.g., EEO-1, AAP, VETS-4212). Pay and Benefits

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $72,300.00 - $105,000.00 annually. Actual compensation is based on factors such as education, experience, skill set, location, and market considerations. Regular, full-time non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan; some roles may qualify for long-term incentives and other compensation according to plan documents.
