Northwell Health’s Department of Cardiology and the Katz Institute for Women’s Health are seeking a dynamic, fellowship-trained cardiologist to become the Director of Women’s Heart Health to lead the clinical program across the western region and join the cardiac team at Lenox Hill Hospital, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Primary clinical responsibilities will be based in Manhattan with administrative responsibilities expanding across the western region including New York City, Westchester, and Staten Island. Responsibilities include direct patient care activities, clinical leadership and program development, research leadership, educational program development, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
Direct patient care in the area of women’s cardiovascular health.
Clinical leadership and program development across the western region.
Research leadership and educational program development.
Community engagement to advance women’s heart health initiatives.
Qualifications
ABIM Board Certified in Cardiology.
Five years of experience with strong background in women’s cardiovascular health, including cardio-obstetrics.
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
