Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating. Also assists with taking patients\' temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Responsibilities
Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes, and outputs with accuracy and within established time frame and/or as requested. Completes all documentation in the medical record as required. Interacts with patients and their families effectively. Helps patients with basic hygiene tasks, including bathing and dressing, assisting with toilet use if needed, and feeding as required. Assists with turning and repositioning patients in bed and helps them move between the bed and a wheelchair if needed. Listens to health concerns and reports them to the nurses. Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred Licenses and Credentials : Nursing Assistant (Certified Patient Care Technician) - NCCT required Experience : 1-2 years in patient care or medical assisting in a hospital or healthcare setting Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Empathetic, patient-centered care; ability to monitor and document patient information; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to perform physically demanding tasks; collaborative mindset; resourcefulness and initiative Additional Job Details
