WHAT WE'RE DOING

Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) - Enterprise Software development for the USAF

Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) is a United States Air Force (USAF) program to provide an autonomous, long-range, conventional, air-to-ground, precision missile able to strike highly defended, high value targets. JASSM Enterprise Software (JES) was developed to improves quality and speed in targeting and strike planning solutions across multiple 363rd Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group (363 ISRG) production units and the Standoff Munitions Application Centers (SMAC).

THE WORK

Within the Terminal Area Model (TAM) Automation and Mission Optimization (MO) portfolio of JES, we are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This exciting position will fill a critical need in the new and emerging area of automated targeting. As the product owner of an Agile team, you will lead the team on a variety of tasks in various areas across the mission and collaborate with other development teams, contractors, customers, and subject matter experts. As a key member of the software development team, you will be part of the entire engineering life cycle and apply your Software Engineering background to develop web-based applications. Who We Are

As part of the C4ISR Weapons Platform Integration (WPI) team, you will support on-site mission optimization analysis for seeker model analysis & target artifact analysis as part of the JASSM Enterprise Software program. Reporting to the Mission Analysis Product Manager, you will work with cross-functional, multi-site teams and should be comfortable working in a highly dynamic customer environment and adept at working with geographically dispersed teams.

Basic Qualifications

Experienced in software development using programming or scripting languages such as C#, Python

Experienced in software databases such as Microsoft SQL

Experience working in an Agile development environment, including tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and / or Confluence

Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

Desired Skills

Experience with frameworks such as .NET Core, Angular, etc.

Strong knowledge of modern technology frameworks, microservices, APIs, DevOps, and data architecture

Strong knowledge of remote sensing and electro-optical (EO) imagery

Experience working through hardware and software integration challenges

Active TS/SCI security clearance

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,900 - $164,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered:

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $98,800 - $186,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
