Backup Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backup Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern backup platforms, strong scripting and automation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment. Responsibilities Design and implement backup strategies and protection groups. Administer and maintain backup platforms such as Cohesity or Rubrik. Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines. Manage and support Windows and Linux server environments. Collaborate with global teams to support enterprise-wide deployments. Ensure data protection, integrity, and recovery readiness. Required Skills Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backup administration. Hands-on experience with Cohesity or Rubrik. Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, CI/CD). Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments. Ability to work independently in a high-demand setting. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills Experience with IBM Spectrum Protect and Veeam. Quick learner and self-starter with a proactive approach. Ability to support global deployments and collaborate across teams.
