Provide support for the clinical information systems in the hospital network Serve as a resource person for the daily operational issues of the hospital’s clinical systems Act as the key point of contact between clinical leaders and Information Technology clinical initiatives in developmental, implementation and production environments Provide leadership, facilitate and enable the planning, development, maintenance and evaluation of clinical information systems and workflow with representatives of the organization Review, analyze, and evaluate user needs and clinical systems Act as the internal expert on clinical systems functionality Document functional and technical requirements, map process flows, document test plans, conduct system testing, document user manuals and administer training Work with the clinical customers to understand their requirements, map process models, design technical solutions to satisfy requirements, and complete formal system testing Work with vendors to understand product features and align the MSMC implementation strategy with the vendor's product roadmap; educate end users on available functionality Monitor system performance and report anomalies, errors, inaccuracies or inefficiencies Assist in the development of policies and procedures for the usage of clinical information systems Facilitate workflow adoption on new processes Testing – participate in system testing events by executing scripts Upgrades/Optimizations – support department/end users during system upgrade and optimization activities Projects and New System Implementations – execute assigned tasks under supervision of senior team members/management Activities may include executing test scripts, working with end users or other tasks to support downtime activities Provide support to formal training classes when necessary, in the form of proctoring, materials preparation or other tasks Qualifications

Epic Ambulatory, Epic Clarity or Orders or ClinDoc certified Experience as an RN or other clinical area preferred 3+ years Epic software implementation or support experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience SQL reporting experience preferred Strong understanding of CMS reporting programs (e.g., MIPS, ACO, eCQM) for Regulatory 3-5 years prior experience working in a clinical information systems environment and familiarity with process/performance improvement; implementing change; risk assessments; and gap analysis Florida resident or 1099 Contractor Benefits
