TEKsystems . This is a 12 month contract role, hybrid with 3 days on site a week in Austin, TX. Responsibilities

Develop intelligent, self-service user experiences by integrating pre-trained LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) and machine learning frameworks into customer-facing applications. Design and implement end-to-end features for a chat-based data interaction platform. Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Streamlit. Develop scalable back-end services and APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask) or Node.js. Enhance and maintain software systems supporting generative AI initiatives. Deliver full-stack AI-powered applications using Python and contemporary UI frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges and integrate scalable, cloud-based AI solutions. Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on AI tools with a focus on performance, flexibility, and scalability. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, conduct code reviews, and support the full software development lifecycle. Design and implement DevOps pipelines to support release management. Required Qualifications

A minimum of seven years of experience in software development, including at least two years focused on AI/ML technologies and over four years of hands-on expertise with Python. Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and React.js, with strong experience in backend services and data processing. Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and CI/CD pipelines. Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices. Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills. Hands-on experience with generative AI frameworks and models (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI APIs). Familiarity with LLMs, vector databases, and retrieval systems. Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of data visualization libraries and dashboarding tools. Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with DevOps tools including Jenkins and Azure DevOps. Understanding of database and data engineering fundamentals. Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration and server development. Programmatic integration with Microsoft 365 using Graph API and Entra ID authentication. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
