clearance. We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer SME to support a mission-critical government program. This role is ideal for experienced engineers with deep technical expertise in systems administration, cloud computing, infrastructure automation, and secure application deployment. Candidates must be adept at supporting complex environments and mentoring junior team members. Compensation & Benefits: Pay commensurate with experience. Systems Engineer SME Responsibilities Include: Manage and maintain application servers, networks, and development/test environments. Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot application hosting services. Monitor system performance and conduct audits to ensure data integrity and protection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and implement effective solutions. Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to end-users. Develop and enforce best practices for system backups, disaster recovery, and redundancy. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in IT systems, especially cloud and automation technologies. Performs other job-related duties as assigned Systems Engineer SME Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: Active TS/SCI with polygraph Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. 16+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Strong background in Linux System Administration and containerization (e.g., Docker). Experience with source control tools (e.g., Git, Subversion). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Skilled in performing security reviews of applications and infrastructure. Ability to analyze and resolve networking issues. Effective in team environments and capable of mentoring others.
