Overview
We’re looking for a Senior PHP Symfony Developer to join us on our roadmap to architect, engineer, deploy, scale and maintain a whole new generation of marketplace technologies in addition to supporting our current ecosystem of custom technologies. You’ll play a significant role in augmenting our legacy of customer trust and technical pioneering.
Responsibilities Responsibilities and duties
Design, develop, test, and maintain PHP-based applications using the Symfony framework (5.x+).
Architect scalable solutions to support marketplace technologies and integrate with existing systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and optimize features.
Ensure code quality and performance via reviews, testing, and best practices.
Participate in deployment and operational activities to maintain reliability and stability.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 6+ years of experience in development in total.
PHP version 8.x+.
Symfony version 5.x+.
Experience with REST APIs.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Experience in website design and implementation with PHP 8+ or higher, Symfony Framework 5.4+ (or similar PHP MVC Framework), Twig, Doctrine, MySQL or MariaDB, and JavaScript.
Confident use of the Linux shell.
Desirable Skills
Experience in server administration (Apache, MariaDB) / DevOps.
Experience in server virtualization (VMware ESXi / Hyper-V).
Experience in the development of mobile applications.
