We are seeking either a Computer Systems Architect or Principal Computer Systems Architect to join the Protected Tactical SatCom – Ground (PTS-G) program. In this role, you will be a key member of the team responsible for readying and supporting PTS operations. This role reports to the Ground Mission Operations Lead and works with the Infrastructure team to develop and implement RM&A documentation, Mission Operations Center System Administrator support, and a system architecture baseline that meets operational requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong foundational knowledge of computer systems (hardware components, applications, operating systems, and RM&A metrics and documentation) and can apply systems engineering principles collaboratively. Responsibilities

Define the computer system application configuration and provisioning plan Determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies Develop and recommend corrective actions Interface and collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity engineers, database managers, and software developers Basic Qualifications

Computer Systems Architect: 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 0 years with Masters; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree Principal Computer Systems Architect: 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 3 years with Masters; 1 year with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree Active DoD Secret Clearance required at the time of application Current Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certification Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Classified Windows/Linux Domains Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible, network design, configuration, and management Familiarity with a broad set of commercial hardware system components (servers, switches, routers, NAS) Experience with Atlassian tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) Ability to travel up to 10% domestically Ability to support onsite in Manhattan Beach, California and provide 24/7 on-call support during rehearsals, tests, and all operational phases of the program Preferred Qualifications

Familiar with Model Based Systems Engineering principles Experience with requirements decomposition and derivation down to hardware subsystem and component level specifications Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Developer, or Expert RedHat Certified (System Admin or Engineer) CompTIA Network+ Certification VMware Data Center Certification VMware Network Virtualization Certification Experience with Engineering Drawings and Electronic Bill of Materials that drive procurement demands Understanding of information technologies with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to analyze high-level needs using use cases/scenarios and relate them to requirements Salary and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00 The above salary ranges are general guidelines. Northrop Grumman considers multiple factors when determining base salary offers, including scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply. Long Term Incentives may be available for certain roles.
