ABOUT THE ROLE
As a UX/UI Designer at Boostlingo, you will design product experiences that transform how users interact with language and AI. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to create simple, effective, and delightful user journeys. You will help ensure our AI-powered workflows are approachable, intuitive, and human-centered. We are growing rapidly and are looking for a creative, user-centered UX/UI Designer to join our Product team. This role focuses on shaping intuitive, engaging, and accessible experiences for our next-generation AI-enabled products. WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF THIS ROLE
User-Centered Research & Insights Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to understand the needs of multilingual end users, interpreters, and enterprise clients. Analyze user behavior data and translate insights into design improvements that improve adoption and retention. Create personas, empathy maps, and customer journey maps grounded in real-world user needs. Define and document company-wide UX/UI design processes, tools, and review practices. UX Strategy & Information Architecture Define end-to-end user journeys, especially around AI-enhanced workflows (AI-assisted interpreting, translation, or workflow automation). Develop wireframes, user flows, site maps, and task analyses to simplify complex language workflows. Establish interaction models balancing human input and AI-driven recommendations for intuitive experiences. UI Design & Visual Systems Design polished, accessible interfaces aligned with Boostlingo’s brand and product vision. Build and maintain a design system for consistency across products and platforms. Deliver prototypes and high-fidelity mockups for stakeholder reviews and engineering implementation. AI Product Experience Design Partner with product and engineering to design explainable AI features that inspire user confidence. Craft micro-interactions and feedback loops to help users understand and trust AI outputs. Experiment with conversational UI, predictive flows, and adaptive interfaces that leverage ML models. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership Work with the Chief Product Officer to translate strategic product vision into concrete design deliverables. Partner with Product Managers to define requirements and prioritize design initiatives. Collaborate with engineers to ensure smooth handoff, feasibility, and quality execution. Advocate for UX best practices across departments and represent the voice of the customer. Iteration, Testing & Optimization Plan and run A/B tests, usability studies, and heuristic evaluations to validate design decisions. Continuously refine product experiences based on data, feedback, and evolving AI capabilities. Establish KPIs for design success (e.g., task completion rate, time on task, adoption of AI features). Leadership in Design Culture Act as the primary design authority across all product lines. Partner with executives to embed design thinking in product strategy. Promote design thinking and mentor team members in design best practices. Contribute to thought leadership on AI and UX in language technology. Stay current on industry trends in AI, SaaS, language access, and accessibility to keep Boostlingo competitive and innovative. QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years of UX/UI design experience, ideally with SaaS or B2B platforms. Experience designing AI-enabled workflows. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Background in accessibility design and WCAG compliance. Experience as a design lead. Experience with conversational UI, voice interfaces, or AI-powered experiences. Familiarity with localization and language technology. WHAT MAKES BOOSTLINGO A GREAT COMPANY
