Overview
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering (KIE) has an opening for a dynamic experienced Civil 3D CAD Manager in our growing Digital Delivery and CAD Management group. You will be part of our rapidly growing Infrastructure Design Department, which includes roadway, drainage, utilities, structural, geotechnical, rail, and is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit with best-in-class technical expertise focused on the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects throughout the country. This position will be based out of Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers Lone Tree, CO office. Relocation assistance available for qualified applicants. Responsibilities
Be part of a design team responsible for completing engineering assignments in support of heavy civil construction for Kiewit Construction Companies’ business including roadway, drainage, utility design, preparation of design plans, and technical reports. Perform primarily in-office work. Demonstrate strong technical skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and other civil engineering design software. Manage, develop, implement, and update various DOT standards; ensure compliance with company CAD standards on projects, and identify needed updates for heavy civil infrastructure design teams. Coordinate with internal and external design teams and technical leads to setup and manage CAD efforts for project delivery. Coordinate with IT leadership to resolve local and project-level issues related to CAD deliverables and project technology needs. Develop and maintain Project CAD Manuals; contribute to the creation of BIM Project Execution Plans. Assist with leading project CAD/BIM management task force meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and tracking follow-up actions. Participate in interdisciplinary reviews and CAD conformance audits to ensure client standards are met for milestone deliverables. Prepare progress reports and provide task updates during department, project, or team meetings. Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write technical memos and papers and present technical topics. Multitask effectively across various project assignments based on priorities. Produce documents using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Assist in the development of team software training materials. Qualifications
Associate’s degree in computer-aided design, 3D modeling, drafting, surveying, or a related program. 10+ years of digital design experience utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D on heavy civil infrastructure projects. Experience with CAD management, including the implementation of DOT or client-specific CAD standards on projects, as well as providing training and coaching to team members; Design-Build experience is a plus. Experience with defining, documenting, and implementing CAD standards and execution plans. Experience troubleshooting technical and workflow issues in AutoCAD or Civil 3D. Experience managing digital design project efforts from early scope reviews and workplan development through execution and project closeout. Experience or working knowledge of ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Experience with Bentley InRoads, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, and Revit is a plus. Critical thinking skills with the ability to plan ahead and conceptualize. Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills are essential in this role. Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and materials used in civil engineering. Self-motivated and results-focused, with the ability to work with minimal supervision. Other Requirements

Base Compensation: $100,000/yr - $130,000/yr Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.
