BIM/VDC Engineer

in our Phoenix office. Responsibilities

Facilitate problem-solving using technology and collaboration with project teams, both internal and external Coordinate your workload for one or more projects with VDC Manager(s) Manage modeling efforts and deliverables to solve construction issues Understand and contribute to the VDC coordination schedule by tracking individual responsibilities and providing progress updates Identify and facilitate the resolution of coordination conflicts using clash detection in Navisworks Lead clash resolution and coordination meetings, seeing all items through to completion Use modeling best practices and company standards to produce accurate models Conduct quality reviews of modeled scope from others and confirm compliance with the contract documents Apply concepts from training sessions and lessons learned to facilitate project coordination Understand and implement VDC services in accordance with our standards and best practices Understand, and contribute as applicable to VDC goals and company initiatives Requirements / Qualifications

0-4 years of BIM/VDC experience working on commercial construction projects Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Computer Graphics, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent combination of training and experience Willingness to relocate and travel Willingness to learn, grow, and further develop relevant professional skills Knowledge of 3D modeling and coordination tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, & Navisworks Ability to work in a collaborative environment as well as independently Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and others as applicable Understand contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules Understanding of the basics of the construction management process (RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings) Strong communication and time management skills; willingness to relocate and work in a collaborative environment Seniority level
