Engineer high-quality reusable code to develop the dynamic user interface for various platforms Enhance testing platforms, improve test automation, foster software craftsmanship Surprise and delight customers and partner software engineers Monitor and evaluate the performance of our solutions Collaborate with multi-skilled teams working on commercial/fleet software solutions Engage in Test-first Development, Test Driven Development Cloud development using cutting-edge technologies and integrations with Ford enterprise systems You’ll have
Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent 7+ years of experience with object-oriented development languages, such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, or C# 5+ years of experience with modern databases (relational and non-relational) 5+ years of experience developing and deploying to cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure) Experience developing web-based UI using React.js, JavaScript, Angular and/or TypeScript Familiarity with debugging tools Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform) Experience with end-to-end testing tools Even better, you may have
Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles Familiar with eXtreme Programming (XP) practices including Pair/Mob programming and Test-first/Test Driven Development Experience with Spring/SpringBoot and RESTful web services development Experience with machine learning, mathematical modeling and data analysis Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases Experience with Agile tools (Jira, backlogs, iterations, user stories) and collaborating with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers and business partners Previous experience as a React.js developer Strong front-end skills (JavaScript, CSS, HTML) and knowledge of React tools such as React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux Experience with user interface design Knowledge of performance testing frameworks (Mocha, Jest) Passion for learning and willingness to work in a pair programming environment Understanding of fundamental data modeling You may not check every box, or your experience may look different, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
