Java Architect with Cassandra & PCF Experience - 100% Remote - FULLTIME Qualifications
12 to 15 years of experience in Java, core java and advanced java concepts and technologies. Hands on experience in Spring / Spring Boot / Cloud technologies. Experience in React JS/Angular JS is Nice to have. Experience with Cassandra would be an added advantage. Hands on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) environment and application development in a cloud environment. Hands on experience with Kafka Connect and Kafka messaging event streams. Must have experience in Java (Spring Boot). NoSQL DB experience (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB) with solid understanding of when to use what. Expertise in non-relational document databases. Experience in managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment. Strong understanding of Agile methodology, estimation techniques and key ceremonies for effective collaboration. Strong communication skills and ability to participate actively in discussions with business customers, architects, and team members. Knowledge about AWS. Experience with Microservices. Responsibilities
Contribute to architecture and design decisions for Java-based solutions with Cassandra and PCF. Lead development efforts across cloud-native Java applications, including Spring Boot microservices. Engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Collaborate with data teams to implement NoSQL data models and appropriate data access patterns. Ensure quality through Agile ceremonies, estimations, and continuous delivery practices. Guide team through full software development lifecycle from conception to deployment. Leverage AWS knowledge to support cloud infrastructure and deployments. Additional Information
