Responsibilities

Support the analysis, management, and provide reports and metrics concerning Naval aviation critical parts in the Joint Deficiency Reporting System - Critical Item Management (JDRS-CIM) database.

Understand NAVAIR’s Critical Item Management (CIM) processes to identify and manage automotive safety critical parts, ensuring only approved parts are used and preventing failure or misuse.

Manage Critical Safety Item (CSI) data in the JDRS-CIM information system used by NAVAIR, NAVSUP, DLA, DCMA, and other services to identify CSIs, approved manufacturers, and critical characteristics.

Collect, clean, and transform large data sets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity in JDRS-CIM.

Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations; develop reports and visual dashboards of findings.

Monitor and evaluate data quality, identify gaps or inconsistencies, and take steps for data refinement.

Provide end-user support to resolve problems related to the use of JDRS-CIM.

Perform standard and specialized queries, develop and provide reports with analysis and recommendations, develop metrics, and propose Software Change Requests (SCRs).

Collaborate with the software development company to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software-related problems; support the implementation of software changes and perform User Acceptance Testing.

Document and track support requests, ensuring accurate and detailed records of issues and resolutions.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, troubleshooting guides, frequently asked questions, and video training.

Develop training materials and train users in the software, interfacing with other automated information systems managed by DoD organizations.

Research information systems such as Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP), ASSIST Quick Search, WebFLIS, and Aviation Product LifeCycle Management (AvPLM) to obtain needed data.

Qualifications

Requirements

Education: Technical or Science AS or AA degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: 0-3 years of recent and relevant experience.

Key Skills:

Strong background in Excel, SQL; proficiency developing and executing SQL queries in relational databases (e.g., Oracle, TOAD, SQL Server).

Experience with analytical tools such as Business Objects, Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI is beneficial.

Experience with military engineering technical data or logistics management data is beneficial.

Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (must have or be able to obtain).

U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation Sabre Systems, LLC compensation is based on location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements. The general salary range for this position is $90,000 to $113,000. Final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms.
