Overview
Adobe is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to enhance cloud security practices, build cutting-edge security tools, and scale Adobe's cloud infrastructure while maintaining a strong security posture.
The opportunity The role provides the opportunity to work on a diverse set of projects, including development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts. You will build and assess tools that cover the newest features from major cloud service providers.
What you’ll do
Secure our cloud infrastructure by building security tools.
Improve tools and processes for CI/CD, automated testing, and release management.
Collaborate with teams to build complex software that interacts with multiple systems, processes, and standards.
Improve availability, performance, scalability, and security of Adobe's security tooling.
Provide security analysis before and at build time across Adobe's security tooling.
Maintain elevated levels of security and compliance with Adobe Standards.
Enhance development workflow by assisting in the development of standards and leveraging automation.
Improve development pipelines for faster, more reliable deploys.
Focus on DevSecOps tooling and strategy.
Engage with Adobe product teams on cloud deployment practices.
What you need to succeed
Experience with cloud providers: Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or Google GCP.
Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices.
Experience building infrastructure with CloudFormation and/or Terraform; scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Rust, Go).
Knowledge of orchestration tools (SaltStack, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins).
Hands-on contribution to evolving architecture; understanding of SDLC and automation of SDLC components.
Knowledge of security infrastructure tools, networks, OS fundamentals; experience writing user documentation.
Understanding of software engineering and technical operations; ability to analyze data to identify patterns and trends.
Experience in agile/agile-like development workflows; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Dependability, independent work style, accountability, adaptability, and effective communication skills.
Compensation and notices Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $140,100 – $245,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may depend on knowledge, skills, and experience. The recruiter can share the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award. For non-sales roles, base salary and short-term incentives are defined accordingly. Sales roles may be expressed as total target compensation (TTC) with commission plans.
