In this role, you will be expected to: Analyze real world data pertaining to Missile Defense and Space Domain Awareness As part of an Agile Scrum team, develop and complete features and stories mapped to program objectives Depending on the specific skills of the successful applicant, duties will include one or more of the following: Collect and interpret real world data Develop new algorithms to effectively utilize the data Actively update current algorithms based on new data EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Working or theoretical knowledge of ballistic or non-ballistic missile defense concepts, defense communication systems, the Missile Defense System in general, and Space Domain Awareness Strong background in math and physics Experience using MATLAB to support analysis of complex data Familiarity with Unix/Linux, Agile Scrum, and continuous integration Specific knowledge of one or more MDS elements Experience with scenario generation a plus TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Technical specialty areas may include but are not limited to performance analysis and characterization of large-scale complex system simulations including ballistic missile threats, weapon systems, and command and control. EDUCATION
Advanced degree with 7+ years experience or Bachelor's with 9+ years experience or equivalent LOCATION
Full Time/ On-Site at Schriever Base in Colorado Springs, CO CLEARANCE REQUIRMENT
Top Secret (SCI Eligible) DOD 8570 REQUIREMENT
None SALARY RANGE
$120,000 - $145,000 Actual salary will be based on location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Some positions may be eligible for variable incentive compensation. Perks
