CNC Setup/Programmer

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Setup/Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up and programming CNC lathes and mills, familiar with Haas and Fanuc controls. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work with tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities: Program and set up CNC lathes and mills for aerospace components Write, modify, and optimize G-code and macro programs for both prototype and production runs Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements Select tools, fixtures, and workholding strategies for maximum precision and repeatability Perform in-process inspections to ensure AS9100 and customer requirements are met Troubleshoot machining challenges and continuously improve processes for reliability and efficiency Collaborate with quality, engineering, and production teams to ensure part conformance and timely delivery Other duties as required Requirements: 2+ years of experience in CNC setup and programming Familiar with Haas and Fanuc controls In-depth knowledge of tight-tolerance machining of aerospace materials Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, including GD&T Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with multi-axis or live tooling machines Experience with macro programming Familiarity with AS9100 standards Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.) Background in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives 1.
