AWS Cloud Architect role at Allure Consultant. Role requires extensive experience in AWS cloud computing, cloud migrations, and multi-account environments to design and deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions. Responsibilities
Lead cloud migrations or implementations in a complex multi-account environment. Set up, configure, manage, and troubleshoot AWS AppStream 2.0 and AWS Workspaces for application streaming and desktop virtualization; deploy, manage, and support for optimal performance and cost efficiency. Implement security controls such as encryption, access controls, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for AppStream and Workspaces; work with AWS WAF rules as needed. Apply DevOps principles, containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS), and serverless architectures in cloud solutions. Maintain deep knowledge of key AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.). Design and implement AWS Well-Architected Framework (WAFR) best practices. Ensure data integrity with backup procedures and disaster recovery planning for AWS Workspaces and AppStream environments. Monitor and optimize the performance of AppStream and Workspaces to meet operational needs. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and scalability of cloud resources. Lead architectural reviews and navigate ambiguity in designing solutions to complex business problems. Use AWS blueprints and images to build and deploy infrastructure in AWS. Escalate and drive issues related to support of Workspaces and AppStream; participate in high-severity incident calls and lead troubleshooting efforts for quick recovery. Automate infrastructure management with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible; implement continuous monitoring solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure pipeline health and performance. Administer and support Windows 10/11 and Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) desktops, including software installation, patch management, and troubleshooting; apply security policies and hardening best practices. Automate software deployments and provide system troubleshooting and support for both Windows and Linux platforms. Identify, diagnose, and resolve Windows-based desktop vulnerabilities; monitor and escalate production problems affecting desktop infrastructure. Collaborate with IT teammates to resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT systems and services the team supports. Train users on software and promote IT policies and procedures. Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing. Experience leading cloud migrations or implementations in a complex multi-account environment. Experience with AWS AppStream 2.0 and AWS Workspaces; ability to deploy and manage for performance and cost efficiency. Experience implementing security controls (encryption, access controls, MFA) and AWS WAF rules. Familiarity with DevOps principles, containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS), and serverless architectures.
