Overview
Systems Administrator - multiple levels - clearance and polygraph required. Federal contract position requiring US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Responsibilities
Provide direct support to end users and technical staff (developers, testers, engineers, etc.). Install, configure, troubleshoot, and reimage hardware; manage disk arrays, PowerShell/PowerCLI, and virtualization environments. Maintain Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019 and Active Directory; manage Linux systems and Microsoft-based servers/workstations. Perform OS and application hardening to DISA, Best Practices, and High Assurance standards. Deploy software/hardware, apply patches, manage operating systems, and perform basic backup and restore functions. Work with security tools (SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, Nessus) and have knowledge of Red Hat 7/8, and VMware. Manage Apache Tomcat, IIS, and/or SQL Server databases; document and provide information for security accreditation and certification. Apply advanced security protocols, standards, and network security technologies (e.g., PKI, SSP, vulnerability assessment). Support high assurance platforms and application integration testing; work in client and server virtualization environments. Travel occasionally for work as needed; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Qualifications
Must be a US citizen; TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph. Last polygraph within the last five years. Eight (8) to fourteen (14) years of direct/relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering) from an accredited college or university is preferred. Experience as a systems administrator providing direct support to end users and technical staff. Proficiency with Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019 and Active Directory; experience with Linux and Microsoft-based servers/workstations; Windows 2019. Experience with OS/app hardening, software/hardware deployment, patches, backups/restores. Familiarity with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, Nessus; knowledge of Red Hat 7/8 and VMware. Experience with Apache Tomcat, IIS, and/or SQL Server; ability to document and support security accreditation/certification. Strong understanding of information security principles and practices; experience with network security technologies (e.g., PKI, multiple domains, SSP, vulnerability assessment). Experience with High Assurance platforms and application integration testing; knowledge of client and server virtualization. Willingness to travel occasionally; ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits
