DDC ITS is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Developer to be an integral member of the team. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, able to perform independently, interact with clients professionally, and collaborate with diverse internal and external teams. The candidate will be responsible for the application design, development, and support of Salesforce-related projects. The candidate must demonstrate progressive experience in the full life cycle of the software development environment. Work will be conducted in an Agile setting to integrate data from multiple sources to provide unified, fact-based analytics. Initial work may involve developing a proof-of-concept, prototype, or MVP to demonstrate the long-term viability of customer data integration needs. Build Salesforce solutions on Salesforce Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Communities or Knowledge Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using configuration and customization (Apex, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, etc.) Automate business processes using Salesforce tools (Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, email Alerts) Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth and Single Sign-On Migrate changes from development to test to production environments using CI technologies like Salesforce DX, Jenkins and ANT Perform data updates / migration using Data Loader and similar tools Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze user stories, and address gaps in requirements Adhere to coding standards and develop well-structured, maintainable code Debug and resolve issues in the production system Assist in writing technical approaches and design documentation Assist in developing Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and related documentation Build trust and strong relationships across levels Balance critical thinking with hands-on analysis Qualifications
6 - 9 years of total IT experience with at least 5+ years of Salesforce project development experience Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience Strong Salesforce customization and configuration experience in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Communities and Knowledge Hands-on development experience using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, and related Salesforce configurations UI technologies knowledge (Bootstrap, LDS, Lightning, AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript) a plus Experience with REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth and SSO Knowledge of Product Development Lifecycle and DevOps tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA) Understanding of Salesforce Deployment Processes and tools (ANT, Change Sets, Force.com IDE) Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II) preferred ETL tools experience (MuleSoft or Informatica Cloud) a plus Experience with data integration concepts and cross-functional teamwork Knowledge of DoD weapon system maintenance and supply systems data (hands-on) a plus This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
