Position Overview Verra Mobility is seeking a

Lead Full Stack Developer

who thrives in both front-end and back-end development, with mastery in Java, React, AWS, and Postgres. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys coding at the highest standard, mentoring others, and delivering complex features end-to-end. Lead development efforts for complex features and projects, ensuring technical excellence. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java, React, and NodeJS. Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints. Build responsive, high-performance UI components. Work with AWS services to design and deploy cloud-native applications. Collaborate closely with DevOps for CI/CD and infrastructure automation. Mentor developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical sessions. Required Qualifications 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role. Strong experience with

Java

(Spring Boot),

React

(Typescript), and

NodeJS . Proficiency in SQL and relational database design ( Postgres

preferred). Proven AWS experience with production workloads. Solid understanding of modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Typescript, or Vue). Strong grasp of testing best practices (unit, integration, E2E). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Must be located in Phoenix, AZ and be willing to commute into our Mesa, AZ office two days a week.
