An excellent opportunity for junior to mid-level Software Engineers with founding/small start-up experience to take the next step in a dynamic, ambitious organisation focused on AI technology. Series A secured, Series B funding almost closed. The company is building GenAI software to help accelerate organizations, with a strong focus on engineering excellence and a meritocratic, mission-driven culture. A small team of about 10 engineers, on-site in Central Manhattan. Role Details
Front-End Build and refine sleek, high-quality user interfaces from low-fidelity wireframes Implement top-tier CSS to create pixel-perfect experiences Optimize front-end performance for seamless interactions Collaborate with design and engineering to bring ideas to life with precision and speed Contribute to product core architecture and front-end best practices Full-Stack Build and ship full-stack applications Develop and refine high-quality front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript Design and optimize back-end systems for performance, security, and scalability Collaborate with design and product to turn ideas into production-ready items Take ownership of technical decisions, ensuring maintainability and long-term impact Ideal Requirements
Stack isn’t a strict requirement; focus is on engineering quality and adaptability 2+ years mid-level to senior-level with startup experience (5+ years preferred) Hands-on, adaptable, product-minded Front-End specifics: React, Next.js, TypeScript; state management and performance optimization Experience with Tailwind CSS or SASS/SCSS; polished UIs Architect and scale complex Next.js apps (App Router, SSR, SSG, ISR) Familiarity with data fetching libraries (e.g., React Query) CSS animations, transitions, and layouts; strong UX sensibility Strong portfolio of front-end work; ability to work in a fast-paced startup Bonus: experience migrating to Next.js, caching/CDN strategies, i18n/l10n in Next.js, React Three Fiber/Three.js Full-Stack: portfolio or GitHub with React, TypeScript, Node.js; scalable databases and APIs; performance, security, best practices Apply to the Role
