– BTS Software Solutions is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer 3 to execute the Information Assurance mission. This opportunity is for a future award expected in October 2025. Primary Location

Top Secret/SCI with Poly Degree and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Twenty (20) years of experience as an ISSE on programs of similar scope and complexity is required, with recent experience in the last five (5) years in Cybersecurity principles and technology (e.g., access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, PKI, network and enterprise security architecture). In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, four (4) additional years of ISSE experience may be substituted. A Master’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience. DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE III is required. CISSP-ISSEP certification is required for CWIP IASAE III compliance for this ISSE-3 LCAT. Responsibilities
Participates as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments. Applies IA policy, procedures, and workforce structure to design, develop, and implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments. Interacts with the customer and other project team members. Supports the Government in enforcing the design and implementation of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures. Supports security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management. Identifies overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data. Performs system or network designs that encompass multiple enclaves, including those with differing data protection/classification requirements. Recommends system-level solutions to resolve security requirements. Security and Certification
Reviews certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation, provides feedback on completeness and compliance, and supports security authorization activities in compliance with NSA/CSS Information System Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP), the DoD RMF, the NIST RMF process, and NSA/CSS business processes for security engineering. Pay Range: $135,000-$155,000 Company Overview
