in the age of intelligent systems. What You\'ll Own Lead governance initiatives around artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), machine learning (ML), and advanced analytics within the
Investments & Capital Markets
(I&CM) group. Shape and enforce enterprise risk posture particularly in how data and intelligent systems are designed, deployed, and monitored. Stakeholder Integration Serve as a strategic partner to
Legal, Risk, Information Security, Data Science, and Engineering
teams. Translate technical and legal risk issues into business-aligned language and recommendations. Design and perform risk assessments for data-driven and AI-powered systems, ensuring risks are surfaced early and clearly mitigated. Create customized frameworks for AI-specific risks (e.g., explainability, fairness, and model drift). Policy, Frameworks & Regulatory Alignment Author and refine risk policies, model governance documentation, and oversight frameworks aligned to
NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC, GDPR, CCPA , and other emerging global standards. Monitor regulatory trends and translate them into practical guidance and controls. Ethical AI Leadership Promote ethical and transparent AI practices particularly in areas like algorithmic bias, data provenance, and privacy-by-design. Serve as a subject matter authority on responsible AI within the organization. Reporting & Insight Define, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), risk metrics (KRIs), and governance program effectiveness. Partner with analytics and reporting teams to track real-time risk exposure. Education & Enablement Build a culture of accountability and understanding through training sessions, workshops, and risk awareness initiatives for leadership and technical teams. What You Bring to the Table 8+ years of professional experience in risk, governance, or compliance preferably within financial services, fintech, or enterprise tech 6+ years in operational or enterprise risk with exposure to information risk, model risk, or tech risk 2+ years in a leadership or formal cross-functional influencer role Deep working knowledge of data governance, machine learning operations (MLOps), and AI lifecycle oversight Familiarity with AI risk mitigation tactics (e.g., adversarial robustness, fairness audits, model explainability techniques) Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001/27701, GDPR, CCPA, IEEE AI Ethics Strong presentation and storytelling skills able to speak fluently to executives, legal counsel, and engineers alike This Role Is NOT For You If You\'re looking for a narrow compliance-only role You prefer technical hands-on coding work over strategy and policy You aren\'t comfortable navigating complex stakeholder dynamics in a regulated industry You lack working knowledge of how AI/ML systems introduce new and unique risk types Why You Should Apply Through HireNow Staffing At HireNow Staffing, we partner with forward-thinking employers and work closely with candidates to
