Job Title Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician – Generalist
Job Type Full-Time
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality laboratory testing across multiple disciplines and ensure accurate, timely results that support patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a dynamic clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing in areas including
hematology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology, and urinalysis .
Prepare specimens, run assays, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Maintain compliance with
CLIA, CAP, and OSHA
regulations.
Document and report results in the laboratory information system (LIS).
Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing programs.
Assist with training new staff and ensuring proper lab protocols are followed.
Qualifications
ASCP certification
required (MLT or MT).
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in
Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field .
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and infection control procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
