$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Position Purpose
The Program Manager, Medical Cannabis Laboratory Science, serves as the academic administrator and lead entrepreneur responsible for the assigned program. Under the guidance of the Dean, this position aligns with the College’s mission and strategic goals to support student success. Program-Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Manage Hocking College’s Medical Cannabis Laboratory program, including oversight of laboratories, equipment, testing, research, and sample preparation. Additional Responsibilities
Conduct program reviews and ensure continuous quality improvement. Support accreditation efforts and financial sustainability. Recruit and enroll students, manage faculty and staff, and oversee curriculum development. Maintain compliance with all laws and regulations, including ISO 17025 standards and METRC system requirements. Lead entrepreneurial activities, manage budgets, and seek funding opportunities. Represent the program at events and develop partnerships with educational and industry stakeholders. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biology, or a related field; Master’s preferred. Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience, including proficiency with HPLC, GC, GC/MS, LC/MS/MS, ICP-MS. Strong communication, technology, and leadership skills. Knowledge of safe laboratory practices and regulatory compliance. Additional Details
