Duties
Work 36 hours per week on night shifts. Provide weekend coverage every third weekend. Float between units as required. Start date options available: 8/25 or 9/8.
Skills
Proficiency in Telemetry and Cardiac Telemetry. Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Telemetry unit monitoring and usage of Rapid Response Teams. Feeding tube care and management. Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management and Renal failure care. Blood Product Administration and Peripheral Line Care/Management. Heparin Protocols and management of Cardiac drips (no titration). Usage of PCA, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, and Oxygen face masks. Portable Oxygen tank usage and Non-invasive airway management. Adherence to Isolation Precautions and Wound Care/Wound Vac procedures. Preferred: Post MI care, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, CVA, Surgical drains, and Interpretation of ABGs.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Certifications required: ACLS, BLS. First-time travelers are welcome. Scrub colors: navy blue and/or white. Seniority level
