Overview
Role: Scientist, Analytical Sciences & Technology at Unicon Pharma Inc. Non-GMP testing and stability work support clinical and commercial GMP manufacturing. Responsibilities
Develop, author, and peer-review SOPs, analytical methods, protocols, and reports Execute non-GMP testing: method development, comparability studies, reference standard qualification, and stability testing Document and validate experimental data, perform trending and data review Troubleshoot operational issues and provide technical guidance Identify and implement emerging analytical technologies Support regulatory submissions and audit readiness Handle routine lab tasks: sample management, instrument maintenance, inventory, and housekeeping Qualifications
Education:
B.Sc./B.Eng. or M.Sc./M.Eng. in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related field Experience:
0–5 years in biologic/protein analytical testing Preferred Skills: Familiar with GMP, PAT, CMC, ICH guidelines, regulatory requirements Strong technical writing, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks independently Work Environment & Other Requirements
Lab and office work (PPE required; may involve handling biohazards, solvents, heated materials) Physically active role (pipetting, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, reaching) Flexible schedule, may include occasional shift work or weekend coverage Travel:
Up to 5% domestic or international Note:
Candidates should have ≥2–3 years of relevant lab experience; master’s graduates with internships/co-ops are welcome Job Details
