Labor & Delivery - Critical Care Staff Nurse - Nights 7p-7a
Children's Mercy Fetal Health: The Special Care Delivery service at Children's Mercy delivers many babies followed in the Fetal Health Center. More than 1,850 babies have been born here since the program started in 2011. Utilizes nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide comprehensive, age-appropriate nursing care for perinatal patients. Assists with the shift supervision of nonprofessional personnel as necessary.

Responsibilities Provide perinatal nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices. Support shift supervision of nonprofessional personnel as needed. Contribute to a collaborative care environment within the Fetal Health Center to support patient and family needs.
Qualifications
Associate's Degree required and 1-2 years experience
At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Licensed RN - Missouri: MO license required upon hire or Registered Nurse Multistate License for Missouri
Licensed RN - Kansas: KS license required upon hire or Registered Nurse Multistate License for Kansas
RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
Employees must obtain Licensed RN - Kansas or equivalent within 90 days

Starting Pay Pay ranges are market-competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $33.43/hr; offers are based on education and experience.
